We are kicking off the 2011 World Youth Day in Madrid
and celebrating “Chicago Style” at the same time!
Every 30th Sunday in ordinary time (usually the 4th Sunday of October) is a day
full of celebration in honor of our young people. We celebrate World Youth Day!
We give thanks for our youth and the many gifts and blessings they bring to our
parish communities and beyond as we celebrate World Youth Day 2010, an
annual celebration begun by Pope John Paul II in 1985.
October 24th we open and kick off WORD YOUTH DAY 2011
