Our Mission:

Rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and in the tradition of the Catholic Church, the Office for Catechesis and Youth Ministry provides advocacy, leadership and vision for catechesis and youth ministry in the Archdiocese of Chicago.

 

Goal #1:

Advocate and promote a comprehensive approach to youth ministry, as articulated in Renewing the Vision, that takes into account the diversity and multicultural reality within the Archdiocese of Chicago

Goal #2:

Provide formation and professional development for youth ministers

Goal #3:

Facilitate, network and collaborate to foster community life that builds trust and encourages healthy relationships

Goal #4:

Provide resources and systems to enhance the work of youth ministry objectives

Goal #5:

Offer opportunities for the participation of youth in catholic evangelization events at the local, national and international level.
